Questioning????

We were busy last week working on asking questions while reading books.  We worked on asking questions before we read, during our reading, and even after we read.  We were very good at asking all sorts of questions.  One very fun activity we did was all about play doh.  Each student was given a small ball of play doh and the only direction they were given was to create something.  Then I just wandered around and listened to the questions they asked and wrote them down.  They had a great time and loved not being given very many directions.  We only had a few questions.  Then after about 5 minutes they were told to add something to their creation.  Now that step really got the questions flowing!  :)
