Our MONSTERS!!!~

We were very busy making monsters last Friday at school.  We made a Shape Monster Glyph.  They are hanging in the hall outside our classroom if you have a chance to check them out.  If not I have taken a picture to share with you. 

This was a way to work on shapes, fine motor skills, and a way to learn about one another.  We had certain criteria that we had to follow to make these monsters.
It was:

Favorite Shape- body

Favorite color- color of my monsters body

Triangle/rectangle body – 1 eye

Square/circle- 3 eyes

Rectangle mouth – I am a boy

Semi circle mouth – I am a girl

Hair- number of letters in their name

Teeth- how old they are

Legs- crunchy legs- scary and straight legs- happy

Shoes- 2 colors – siblings and 2 color- no siblings

This was a lot of fun!  Hope you like them too!
