PALS
Last week we practiced 2 different times our PALS (Peer Assisted Learning System). We do this twice a week. It is something they do with a partner. There are 4 sections to each paper and each pair does the whole paper. There are letters they say to their partner, rhyming words, and even some beginning sounds. They really enjoyed this and we will continue to work on these skills!

Kindergarten Owls
We spent on project time on Friday creating hand print owls to hang in the hall! We are very excited about these colorful owls! If you have time to stop in our hallway to check them out go for it! Here are a few pictures of us working hard to create these!
Read to Self
We have made our goal of reading to self for 20 minutes! We are so excited and proud of ourselves! Now we only have to practice this once a day and we get to move on to learning about another Daily! Enjoy the pictures of us reading to self! This makes us a better reader if we read everyday.
Sorting...Sorting...Sorting
We have been working very hard on sorting by various attributes. We sort by color, shapes, sizes, etc. This has been a lot of fun and we love sorting all the various manipulatives in our room!

Math Dailys
We have really gotten started on a variety of the things we do daily in Kindergarten. It has been a lot of fun to get into a routine. Each morning after the students have hung up their bags, done their lunch cards, and now went to the IMC they can check a chart in our room to go to their Math Daily. We have 4 of them that they rotate through. These stations are math technology, math writing, math by myself, and partner math. We have containers that have a variety of activities they can do in each area. They are really learning about mathematics and having a good time doing this!
Our Class Promise
We spent some time early this week creating our class promise and then making our own face to go with the promise. We came up with some important things that our classroom needed to have to be a successful and respectful place to be. We made a list of these and signed our name that we would try our hardest to be successful at doing these items. Then we created our "face" to hang up with our classroom promise. It was a lot of fun and we were very excited for these to hang up. They are in our room to be shown off all year!
Enjoy the photos!
